Landlord Registration

Landlord registration is achieved via the button at the bottom of this page. Both the rental property and landlord details are required and a confirmation email will be sent to the new user's email address. Please contact us to discuss the available Service Plans.

Landlord's can register a single property for free by not subscribing to one of our Service Plans and arranging all the required safety regulations themselves. However, in this situation it is the landlord's responsibility to ensure their property has met all the mandatory safety regulations and they are kept up to date. Additional properties without Service Plans are charged at £100 per property per year (ex VAT).

To enable their account the new user will need to confirm security settings and perform two factor authentication when they first login. They will be invoiced within one week according to the chosen Service Plan, which provides a 12 months contract period from the registration date.

The account can be accessed via the User Login button at the bottom of this page and additional properties can be added from the account home page.

Account Setup

The first task after enabling the account is to upload the primary picture of the property, this is used to confirm the property identity in guest searches since only a partial address is displayed for security reasons.

The default mandatory safety regulations added to all properties are the Fire Risk Assessment, Gas and Electrical Safety Certificates, and Property Insurance Policy. Depending on the property requirements and chosen Service Plan some other regulations may be added including Public Liability Insurance, Legionella Risk Assessment, Portable Appliance Testing, Oil Safety Certificate and Energy Performance Certificate. Once these safety regulations are performed by our qualified engineers the associated documents will be uploaded with their expiry dates. It is the landlord's responsibility to upload certain documents like insurance policies which must be valid as SafeUKation Ltd will not be liable for any invalid data entered.

Finally the SafeUKation logo picture can be downloaded from the account home page top border and put on the associated letting platforms with the other property pictures to inform guests that the property is registered with SafeUKation.

Property Management

By using a SafeUKation Service Plan we will arrange all the necessary engineer visits required by a property and upload the associated safety documents to the landlord's account. Once a property is complaint with all the required regulations the landlord can apply to the new National Short-term Let Registration Scheme and the associated Registration ID can be added to the landlord's account. This new Registration ID will be required for a property to register with any letting platform such as AirBNB or Booking.com.

Vía the SafeUKation report facility we will be notified when safety regulations are due to expire and will subsequently arrange for their renewal to ensure continuous compliance with all the required health and safety standards.

Landlord's will also be notified when their safety regulations are due to expire and engineer visits are required to their property's. Finally, every property added to SafeUKation is given a unique mailbox that can be used to store any email correspondence relating to that property, ensuring a convenient and focused email log.
